We do not receive any funding or public money, so we have to finance ourselves through advertising or other monetization. Advertising and advertising sales are handled by the panthera advertising agency. You are welcome to contact us for cooperation at office@panthera.cc.
Strict rules for advertising
A project like this incurs relatively high costs for servers and domains, for example, or for programmers who have to maintain our site and keep it secure. In order to continue to finance the project, we have to place advertisements and have had to introduce a paywall for certain blog content.
All advertisements are clearly and unambiguously marked as such.
Ads sold by the agency “panthera” or provided by the advertising service Google AdSense are placed in the advertising blocks (data protection compliant only after consent). The advertising customers have no influence on the design or content of the nmi portal. We are an independent platform for those affected.
Paywall
The stricter data protection rules have led to a significant drop in revenue. The financing of the nmi portal was on the brink. We have therefore decided to set up a paywall. Almost all online newspapers now use this system. All content is unlocked for a small monthly or annual fee. Content creation is a lot of work and paying for it should actually be logical. You also pay for Netflix, Amazon Music or Audible. So why not for Internet content? We chose Steady because it is a data protection compliant paywall based in Germany (Berlin).
