Especially for people with <strong>food intolerances &#8211;<\/strong>such as <strong>lactose intolerance, fructose intolerance, histamine intolerance or sorbitol intolerance<\/strong> &#8211; digital aids have become very important. There are now also numerous apps, symptom diaries and nutrition trackers for people with <strong>irritable bowel syndrome<\/strong>, chronic digestive complaints or non-specific food intolerances.  <\/p>\n\n<p>On this page we present the <strong>apps and books of the nmi portal<\/strong>. They are based on over 20 years of research and experience in the field of nutrition, digestion and food intolerances and help to better understand nutrition and recognize individual intolerances. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Own research for over 20 years<\/h2>\n\n<p>The <strong>nmi portal<\/strong> has been dealing scientifically with <strong>food intolerances and nutrition for digestive complaints<\/strong> for more than 20 years. Early on, we published food lists online for those affected. At that time, these were still simple tables or PDF lists.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Over time, this data was continuously expanded and scientifically analyzed. Many factors are taken into account, such as <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maturity of food<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Processing and preparation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Usual consumption quantities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Natural fluctuations in ingredients<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In cooperation with the <strong>University of Innsbruck<\/strong>, a complex <strong>compatibility index<\/strong> was developed from this, which scientifically evaluates the data and translates it into an easily understandable traffic light system.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Community data: How do other people tolerate the food?<\/h2>\n\n<p>A special feature of &#8220;Ask Ingrid!&#8221; is the <strong>community rating<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Users can use the app to indicate how well they tolerated a particular food. This information is evaluated anonymously and made available to all other users. <\/p>\n\n<p>This allows you to see <strong>how other people with the same intolerance combination have tolerated a food<\/strong>. <strong>Over 200,000 users<\/strong> have already <strong>submitted reviews<\/strong> &#8211; and new experiences are being added every day. <\/p>\n\n<p>The app is available free of charge for <strong>iOS and Android<\/strong> and you can scan or query data twice a day.
